Death
Death was a pioneering American death metal band founded in 1983 by guitarist and vocalist Chuck Schuldiner. Often regarded as one of the originators of the death metal genre, Death released several groundbreaking albums, including Scream Bloody Gore (1987), Leprosy (1988), and Symbolic (1995). Their sound evolved from raw, brutal metal to a more technical and progressive approach. Schuldiner was known for his philosophical lyrics and musical innovation. Despite frequent lineup changes, Death remained a leading force in extreme metal. Chuck Schuldiner passed away in 2001 from brain cancer, but his legacy endures. Death is still recognized as one of the most influential metal bands of all time.
