About our privacy policy
RdB Holding B.V. trading as Vinylplace.eu cares deeply about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (the improvement of) our services and handle the information we collect about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by RdB Holding B.V. trading as Vinylplace.eu. The effective date of these terms is 06/11/2025. When a new version is published, the validity of all previous versions expires.
This privacy policy describes what data we collect about you, what it is used for, and with whom and under what conditions it may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect it against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you have provided to us.

About data processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where we (may) store it, which security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.
Our webshop is developed using software from Shoptrader. Personal data that you make available to us for our services is shared with this party. Shoptrader has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support but will never use your data for any other purpose.
Shoptrader is obliged, under the agreement we have with them, to take appropriate security measures. These measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shoptrader uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected or stored. Shoptrader reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve its services.
Email and mailing lists
We send our email newsletters using MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website, you will find the “unsubscribe” link. If you click this, you will no longer receive our newsletter.
Your personal data is securely stored by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that make it possible to see whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in this context, share information with third parties.
We use Office365 for our regular business email communications. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Office365 does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email correspondence confidentially.
Payments
To process (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the payment service provider Pay.nl. Pay.nl processes your name, address, residence details, and your payment information such as bank account or credit card number. Pay.nl has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.
Pay.nl reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in this context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the case of an application for deferred payment (credit facility), Pay.nl shares personal data and order information with post-payment service providers.
All of the above guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Pay.nl's services for which they engage third parties. Pay.nl does not retain your data longer than legally permitted.
Reviews
We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review through WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you for clarification of your review.
If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this data solely to invite you to write a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties to provide its services, and we have granted WebwinkelKeur permission for this.
All the safeguards described above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to parts of the service for which WebwinkelKeur engages third parties.
Shipping and logistics
When you place an order with us, it is our duty to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL and DHL to carry out deliveries. To do this, we need to share your name, address, and residence details with these partners. Both PostNL and DHL use this data solely for the purpose of executing the agreement. If PostNL or DHL engages subcontractors, they will also make your data available to these parties.
Invoicing and accounting
For maintaining our administration and accounting, we use the services of AFAS Software. We share your name, address, and residence details, as well as order details. This data is used to manage sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored securely. AFAS is obliged to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data as confidential. AFAS will not use your personal data for any other purpose than described above.
External sales channels
We sell (some of) our products via the Bol.com platform. If you place an order through this platform, Bol.com shares your order and personal data with us. We use this data to process your order. We treat your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it from loss and unauthorized use.
General purpose of data processing
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the processing of your data is always directly related to the assignment you give us. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing.
If you share data with us and we wish to contact you later for a purpose other than your initial request, we will explicitly ask for your consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality agreements or legal obligations.
Automatically collected data
Data automatically collected by our website is processed to further improve our services. This data (such as your IP address, web browser, and operating system) does not contain personal data.
Cooperation in fiscal and criminal investigations
In some cases, RdB Holding B.V. trading as Vinylplace.eu may be legally required to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such cases, we are compelled to share your data, but we will oppose this within the limits of the law.
Retention periods
We retain your data as long as you are our client. This means we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will treat it as a request to be forgotten.
This also means that we do not store your data longer than two years from the last contact or transaction, unless there is a legal reason to retain it longer. Due to administrative obligations, we must retain invoices containing your (personal) data for the applicable statutory period. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile or documents produced as part of your assignment.
Your rights
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We explain below what these rights are and how you can exercise them.
To prevent misuse, we only send copies of your data to the email address already known to us. If you wish to receive data at another email address or by post, we will ask you to identify yourself.
We maintain a record of handled requests. In the case of a deletion request, we keep anonymized data. You will receive all copies and data exports in a machine-readable format used within our systems.
You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe that we misuse your personal data.
Right of access
You always have the right to access the data we (have) processed that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You can make such a request to our privacy officer. You will receive a response within 30 days.
If your request is granted, we will send a copy of all data to your known email address, including an overview of processors that hold your data, stating the category under which we have stored it.
Right to rectification
You always have the right to have data that we (have) processed that relates to you corrected. You can make such a request to our privacy officer. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send confirmation to your known email address that the data has been amended.
Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to restrict the processing of data that relates to you. You can make such a request to our privacy officer. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will confirm that your data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data we process that relates to you carried out by another party. You can make such a request to our privacy officer. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send copies of all data concerning you that we have processed, or that has been processed by third parties on our behalf, to your known email address. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing services to you, as secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.
Right to object and other rights
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of RdB Holding B.V. trading as Vinylplace.eu. If you object, we will immediately cease processing your data pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is justified, we will provide you with copies of your data and permanently cease processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in a manner that this right would apply. If you believe otherwise, please contact our privacy officer.
Cookies
Our website places cookies from the American company Google, as part of its “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and report on how visitors use the website. This processor may be obliged under applicable laws and regulations to provide access to this data.
