Annihilator

Annihilator is a Canadian thrash metal band founded in 1984 by guitarist and songwriter Jeff Waters. The band made its breakthrough with the album Alice in Hell (1989), which is widely regarded as one of the best debut albums in the genre. Annihilator is known for its technical guitar work, fast riffs, and melodic touches that set them apart from other thrash acts. Jeff Waters remains the driving force behind the band, having written, produced, and performed on nearly every album. Despite frequent lineup changes, Annihilator has remained a consistent presence in the metal scene, with over 15 studio albums to their name. The band continues to earn global recognition and performs actively to this day.
