Brutal Thruth

Brutal Truth are an American grindcore band known for their extreme speed, raw aggression and uncompromising sound. Combining grindcore, death metal and hardcore punk, they became one of the most influential names in the extreme metal scene.

Brutal Truth were formed in New York in 1990 by bassist Dan Lilker, known for his work with Anthrax and Nuclear Assault. Together with vocalist Kevin Sharp, the band developed an uncompromising blend of high-speed grindcore, death metal and hardcore punk, driven by chaotic riffs, relentless blastbeats and brutal vocals.

Their debut album Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses (1992) immediately established Brutal Truth as a major force in extreme metal. Follow-up releases Need to Control (1994) and Sounds of the Animal Kingdom (1997) pushed their sound into increasingly experimental and intense territory.

Following a period of inactivity, Brutal Truth returned with Evolution Through Revolution (2009) and End Time (2011). Their boundary-pushing approach and unpredictable compositions have secured their place as one of the defining bands in grindcore history.
