Brutus

Brutus is a Belgian power trio from Leuven, formed in 2013. The band consists of drummer and vocalist Stefanie Mannaerts, guitarist Stijn Vanhoegaerden, and bassist Peter Mulders. Their music is a unique blend of post-hardcore, post-metal, and post-rock, with Mannaerts' powerful vocals and drumming at the forefront. Brutus has released three studio albums: Burst (2017), Nest (2019), and Unison Life (2022), all of which received critical acclaim. Their energetic live performances have brought them to international stages and festivals such as Rock Werchter and Graspop Metal Meeting. In 2022, their song "All Along" reached the number one spot in Studio Brussel’s "De Zwaarste Lijst", dethroning Metallica. Brutus continues to impress with their intense and emotionally charged sound.
