Godthrymm

Godthrymm is a British doom metal band blending traditional doom with epic melodies and atmospheric songwriting. Featuring former members of My Dying Bride and Vallenfyre, the band has become one of the leading names in contemporary doom metal.

Godthrymm was formed in 2017 by guitarist and vocalist Hamish Glencross, best known for his work with My Dying Bride, Solstice and Vallenfyre. His vision was to create music rooted in classic British doom metal while incorporating rich melodies, powerful riffs and an immersive atmosphere.

Following the acclaimed EP A Grand Reclamation, the band released its debut album Reflections in 2020 to widespread critical praise. Its combination of crushing riffs, memorable melodies and emotional vocal performances immediately established Godthrymm as one of the most exciting bands in modern doom metal. Subsequent albums such as Distortions and Monuments of Ash further strengthened the band's reputation.
