Old school death metal runs deep in the veins of Left to Die, and Initium Motis captures that unmistakable spirit in devastating fashion. Featuring former Death members Rick Rozz and Terry Butler, the American band combines the raw aggression of late-eighties Florida death metal with the power of a modern recording. Expect crushing riffs, relentless drumming and savage vocals delivered with absolute conviction.
Having originally made their name performing classic Death material, Left to Die now demonstrate their own creative force with Initium Motis. Rick Rozz's unmistakable guitar work, Terry Butler's driving bass lines and Matt Harvey's ferocious vocals create an authentic sound rooted in the glory days of Scream Bloody Gore and Leprosy. Rather than simply recreating the past, the band channels that legendary energy into a powerful statement of its own.
This edition of Initium Motis comes on striking Blood Red vinyl, perfectly complementing the album's uncompromising death metal atmosphere. An essential addition to the collection of anyone who worships Death, Gruesome, Obituary and the classic Florida death metal sound.
