Few bands have ever sounded quite like Macabre. With their 1993 album Sinister Slaughter, the Chicago trio created a truly twisted blend of death metal, grindcore and thrash, combining extreme musical aggression with dark humour and disturbing stories about notorious serial killers. Their unmistakable approach would become known as murder metal, a style that remains uniquely their own.
From the frantic opening moments to the final bursts of chaos, Sinister Slaughter delivers an unpredictable assault of razor-sharp riffs, relentless drumming and Corporate Death's distinctive vocals. Tracks such as “Nightstalker”, “The Ted Bundy Song” and “Vampire of Düsseldorf” demonstrate why this album has earned its reputation as an underground classic. Brutal, bizarre and completely uncompromising.
This striking edition comes on White & Red Sunburst vinyl, housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve featuring the original artwork. The dramatic red and white vinyl design perfectly complements the album's sinister atmosphere, making this a standout addition to any extreme metal collection.
