With Catch Thirtythree, Meshuggah released one of the most ambitious and experimental albums of their career in 2005. The Swedish metal band created an extraordinary concept album featuring thirteen interconnected compositions that flow seamlessly into one continuous musical journey. Complex rhythms, hypnotic guitar work and crushing grooves deliver an intense listening experience that pushes the boundaries of progressive and extreme metal.
Tracks such as “Autonomy Lost”, “In Death – Is Life” and “Sum” demonstrate Meshuggah's remarkable ability to combine technical precision with an oppressive atmosphere. The mechanical riffs of Fredrik Thordendal and Mårten Hagström, Jens Kidman's powerful vocals and the unpredictable rhythmic structures make Catch Thirtythree one of the most distinctive albums in modern metal history.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this special 2LP Anniversary Edition comes on stunning Gold & White Marble vinyl, housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve. An outstanding anniversary edition of a groundbreaking Meshuggah classic for fans of technical and progressive metal.
