With Human Waste, Suffocation helped lay the foundations for a new generation of extreme death metal in 1991. This legendary EP from the New York band remains one of the most important early releases in technical and brutal death metal. Its combination of complex riffs, crushing breakdowns, relentless blastbeats and Frank Mullen's deep guttural vocals created a sound of unprecedented brutality.
Tracks such as “Infecting the Crypts”, “Synthetically Revived” and “Catatonia” demonstrate why Suffocation became such an influential force in the development of death metal. The technical precision and uncompromising aggression make Human Waste an essential release in the history of the genre.
This 2023 re-issue comes on striking Tri-Color Merge with Splatter vinyl. A distinctive coloured vinyl edition of an absolute death metal classic and an excellent addition to any Suffocation collection.
